This is the end of the Alpine Slide. The ride consists of a plastic sled with wheels, runners, and brakes (very fast, moving, and not moving, respectively) on a concrete track. The guy at the top said that there is at least one accident every day they're open, so this ain't no little kid's ride. If you never use your brakes, you will launch yourself off the track, or at least wipe out and have your sled ride you down the rest of the way. |
